During our recent family vacation at Hostal Maitahue, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and accommodating nature of the owner and caretaker. As a sommelier and avid traveler from Santiago, I appreciate attention to detail and personalized service, and this hostel truly exceeded our expectations.Upon arrival, we were welcomed with open arms and were graciously offered a free upgrade to a double room with a flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby Maipo Valley. Our youngest, under 3, felt right at home, and the inclusive atmosphere made our stay all the more enjoyable.The convenient kitchen facilities allowed us to prepare family meals, and the cozy common areas provided a welcoming space to relax and play games together. The owner's thoughtful gestures, such as handling our laundry and ensuring our comfort, added an extra touch of care to our stay.In conclusion, Hostal Maitahue offers exceptional value for families seeking a comfortable and family-friendly accommodation in the heart of Chile's wine country.
